— Four surgeons

Four surgeons. One standard.

Board-certified. Decades of operating room time. One AAAASF-accredited facility in Hollywood, FL.

— The practice

How we choose who operates here.

A surgeon joining Colores meets a baseline before the conversation goes further: board certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, an active membership in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, an unrestricted state medical license, and a clinical record we can read in full — outcomes, revisions, complications, the cases that did not go as planned and what was learned from them. Years of experience matter, but they are not a proxy for judgment. We read the work.

Once a surgeon operates here, the review does not stop. Cases are discussed between the four of us as a matter of routine, not exception. A second opinion is always available to the patient and is sought between surgeons whenever the plan is complex or the anatomy unusual. If a procedure falls outside a surgeon's primary focus, it is referred to the partner whose practice centers on it. No one operates outside their depth.

All surgeries are performed in a single AAAASF-accredited facility in Hollywood, FL. The accreditation matters because it standardizes what happens around the operation: anesthesia protocols, equipment maintenance, sterilization, emergency readiness, recovery monitoring. The surgeon is one variable. The system around the surgeon is the other.

We are four surgeons, not a roster. The patient who walks in is the patient one of us operates on — with the others available, by design, when a second pair of eyes helps the result.
